In March 2017 I joined a three week Digital Photography Holidays photography tour around Vietnam, the locations many, sites and sound varied and many many photo’s were taken. I have collated my favorites from each area
Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)
Once arrived I was two days early for the main tour, so started with a short 5 mile walk in 30 degree heat to the ‘Den Tho Duc Thanh Tran Hung Dao’ Pagoda temple

On day two one of the other attendee’s arrived and we decided to taxi to 3 locations, the Market, the War Museum and back to the Pagoda temple

The third day, which was the first day of the tour, started in Ho Chi Minh city street, visiting the old Post Office, past the Church, to the Independence Palace

Can Tho (Mekong Delta)
We then travel down to Can Tho (Mekong Delta). This area has floating markets, busy streets selling fruit to fish and much more. Here we use the local night market to get some evening shots and the next day take a traditional boat out to the water markets and sunrise

A boat ride through the back waterways and a stroll around the local area, including a look at local noodle making

A short tour around the local Can Tho streets

Next morning another early start to capture the sunrise and busy market street, directly outside our hotel

Next we stroll around the local streets, visiting a Chinese temple

Due to size of event, the next stage of the trip can be found in the next Blog from the main Photographit screen Vietnam Part 2
Your photos are incredible. Like something out of a film or special guide book. Fantastic!
